Palermo After Rolando Bianchi

Reports have emerged detailing Palermo‘s reputed interest in in-form Torino striker Rolando Bianchi.

The 29 year-old could possibly be available on a Bosman free transfer next summer should he choose to not renew his contract with the Granata, which expires in June 2013.

Fiorentina, Napoli, and Parma have all been linked with the former Italy U-21 international, but Palermo have apparently inquired further in contacting Bianchi’s agent.

Former Catania director Pietro Lo Monaco attempted to lure the striker to the Elefantini during summer 2011, and now appears set to continue pursuit from his new position with the Rosanero.

Bianchi has recorded four goals in Serie A action on the campaign in seven appearances, whilst adding an additional two strikes in Coppa Italia play.
